First, congratulate yourself for your proactive parenting and getting your child diagnosed! I would try the KINNEBAR first to help with your son's focus and possible sensory needs. Some children find it can help resolve that "antsy" feeling. Treating ADHD is a 360 degree approach - good sleep, good nutrition (high protein, less sugar, complex carbs, fruits and veggies), sensory input/movement and sometimes medication as well. If your son's ADHD is severe he may need all of this support...focus is a gift we can give our children. I would start with one area above at a time and see what works. Don't give up too easily on each item, shifting can take some time.
