Frequently Asked Questions

General Questions

Will the KINNEBAR Foot Swing fit my "X" year old?

The KINNEBAR Foot Swing is designed for "E" = to fit everyone. When a person grows, so does the size of their chair. Think about the size of a Kindergartener's chair... it will be smaller than a 9th grader's chair. The chair determines where the feet will fall. We offer 4 adjustable placements for the foot swing in case you need a minor adjustment. For example: Let's say you have a younger child sitting at your dining room table (an adult-sized chair) you can put the bar in a higher position so that it will fit better. Or maybe your shins are really long...you can drop the swing lower.

Does the KINNEBAR Foot Swing make noise?

No, the KINNEBAR is designed to be quiet, so it does not disturb other people. We partnered with engineers who specialize in friction. The materials we chose self-lubricate so the bar will never squeak.

How much does the KINNEBAR Foot Swing weigh?

The KINNEBAR weighs 7.5 lbs.

It really depends on how much floor space you have. The KINNEBAR 100 is great for a kindergarten size table, while the KINNEBAR 200 can fit under a larger table for older children. Both come equipped with hook and loop straps so it can be secured to the legs of a table. Can I use my health savings account (HSA/FSA) to pay for it?

You should be able to. We contacted several companies and they said as long as you have a doctor's note stating the medical necessity for movement and sensory input it could be covered.

We recommend you call the company that manages your health savings account to confirm eligibility. It is a considered an assistive technology device or an active/flexible seating solution.

Once you have a letter of medical necessity, please use this form for approval with our company.
